You’ve been trying to lose weight for years. You might have been on every diet going and been very successful and then immediately piled the weight back on. You might hate diets and refuse to go on them – after all, who wants to live in permanent denial? You know that it isn’t just about the food, or else you wouldn’t be in this situation. You know that it’s not just about exercising more and you know that starving yourself isn’t going to help. You don’t want to resort to the unknown of weight-loss drugs and the potential risks. But, you aren’t happy with things the way they are. You don’t feel good and you feel like you don’t look good either.
It’s not your fault.
Some of the biggest issues around weight have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with food, exercise or willpower. The biggest issues are the beliefs we have inside ourselves about being fat (or thin). It might be that your whole family is large and you would be ‘the odd one out’ or they might feel threatened if you lost weight. It might be that you learned that by being larger, you keep people away from you and that feels safer.
Whatever your underlying beliefs tell you, we can address it.
EFT-Tapping is a fantastic tool which is easy to learn, simple to carry out and really, really effective in shifting beliefs which no longer serve us. And, when you no longer hold those beliefs, you begin to feel differently about yourself, your life, the world around you, the foods you choose, the movement you participate in and more.

The Body Peace Project
What’s included? 12.5 hours of your time in an online group or individual appointments across 13 weeks. A between-classes, short tap-along video to keep you engaged and motivated and an invitation to track your progress your way (with helpful suggestions).
Your commitment: Commit to the process, attending each weekly call. Create a small space in your day for working at the programme (around 20mins daily).
Why me? Because I hear you. I have been in this place myself. I understand what it is to diet and feel deprived. I have felt the disappointment when the weight piles back on again. I know what it is like to actively dislike your body. I know the sense of shame from those furtive looks at your belly and the plucking at your clothes to get them off your rolls.
As a Medical Herbalist I understand your body and as an EFT-Tapping practitioner, I will likely understand your thoughts, feelings and drivers and as a fellow human, I know what it feels like to be there.

Tool for Life
Our starter session is 90-mins and gives you the opportunity to learn, or get even more familiar with, the EFT-Tapping routine. We will consolidate the moves until they feel like second nature. You will feel it relax you and begin the process of releasing stress and anxiety and now you own it, you can use this Tool for Life for anything and everything life throws at you.
With this tool, you can take action to change your emotions, your body’s sensations and how you think. Each area of our daily life can be addressed with EFT-Tapping and we get to feel empowered to make the changes we desire.

Awareness
When we free ourselves from brain-’blinding’ stress, we begin to notice our (often subconscious) choices and the patterns of behaviour that go with it.
With that awareness comes the empowerment to change our choices. When we start to choose the way we want to, when we start to make our ‘good’ choices naturally, we begin to feel differently about ourselves.
When we feel differently, we act differently and we begin to glide towards the places we’d rather be instead of feeling stuck in a perpetual cycle.

Resistance
Why don’t I eat the way I know suits my body and my health?
Why don’t I choose to exercise?
I know about being healthy. I just don’t do it.
Tackling the resistance creating a gap between knowing what to do, and actually doing it.
It can feel like a world apart but with EFT-Tapping, gradually dissolving those resistances, that gap can get smaller and smaller until there is no gap left. There are choices and the choices feel good and easy to make.

Trust
Using the tool of EFT-Tapping, we can change our internal landscape so that we begin to trust our bodies, start to trust our choices and ourselves once more.
It sounds simple.
Shifting how and what we trust underpins all our choices. When we begin to trust in ourselves, we start to move towards those choices that nurture us and away from those which keep us stuck.

Transformation
It’s a big word and can feel scary. But, if you want things to BE different, you know you have to DO different.
Change can be the hardest thing. Especially if we don’t understand why we don’t do the things we want and know will help us.
EFT-Tapping helps us uncover the drivers behind our actions, releases their grip on us and empowers us to choose differently.

Peace
When we address our ‘stuff’ we start to make better choices.
When we notice ourselves ‘slipping’ we are less judgemental and able to be kinder to ourselves.
When we are kinder to ourselves, we feel better.
When we feel better, we make more aligned choices.
That’s what peace looks like.
